Creators Magazine invited us to design a series of three spreads about rush hour in Barcelona, which occurs between 8:00 and 9:00 o’clock. They made us get up early, but in retun, gave us the chance to face our city through rush hour traffic.
Even though Barcelona isn’t very large, it is an incredibly energetic city, especially at rush hour. Barcelona, which is trapped by the mediterranean sea and the mountains, can’t expand anymore causing many residents to move to suburbs and villages surrounding the city center. Now every morning, 332.723 students and workers commute into the city. We really like this image. Even though it is completely familiar, we do not always understand that we are part of this mass movement; it is an absurd situation.
