Everyone familiar the Netherlands, knows that the Dutch are thirsty for innovation: for the new that reinvents the old; new rules that question the old.
For "SHD" book, a book about new Dutch graphic design, "SHD", TwoPoints.Net developed a traditional grid, but used it in an unconventional way. Images do not seem to respect page boundaries, leaving only to return on the following one. The result is the interaction between different works and the dynamic flow of the book.
The cover illustration and the introduction pages of the book provide the reader with an introduction to the Netherlands, offering a basic language class of many recognizable Dutch objects, as well as the most important contemporary Dutch graphic design offices.

"I think that ‘doing the graphic design for a book about graphic design’, is not an easy task. One must distinguish ‘the book's design’ from ‘the designs of each participant designer’ clearly and simultaneously ensure that the book's design concept remains legible even in the smallest details. ‘Super Holland Design’ is an amazing example of this vision. I especially like the breaking of the grid that creates a dynamic design of rows and columns!
Personally, I really love the first pages of this book, a graphic introduction with many icons of typical Dutch culture."
