Barcelona. Leaving three days of fever delirium behind, but packing my 38°C degree fever to take along, soaked into a never ending dizziness I find myself in a Taxi to Barcelona Airport, 30 minutes before the departure of my plane to Paris.
Barcelona, noisy as always yet so familiar and hospitable, is about to experience one of its most devastating storms in years. As if intuitive to what is about to happen, our plane escapes as fast as it can, shaken by winter clouds, jumping up and down through the cold cotton like world. It all seems a dream to me, moving like a movie I am watching, but not directing.
Paris - Charles de Gaulle is like landing in Terries “Brazil”. Lost in an 1980’s like science fiction movie scenery, no working bus service, no information, no signage nor direction, just mafia cab services and friendly French soldiers.
Antoine appears out of nothing, ready to create something exceptional, … and there it is again, the excitement of not knowing what is going to happen, entering a different delirium, a different cold cotton world.

In 2009 the design school Elisava moved to a new, larger building on the Rambla, and took this as an opportunity to make contact with the Associació d'Amics, Veins i comerciante de la Rambla (The association of friends, neighbours and traders of the Rambla). TwoPoints.Net, as directors of a postgraduate degree and teachers at Elisavas, were commissioned to create a visual identity for a possible application on the Ramblas for the World Heritage Site. The identity was launched on the 2nd February 2010, which was presented to the Mayor of Barcelona.

"We believe that the scale and complexity of today’s challenges are more effectively addressed when design is a leading voice coordinating many, rather than a service applied to pre-defined problems. With a specialized ability to bring synthesis to complex problems, to work from conception to implementation, and to visualize complex relationships, the strategic designer plays a lead role in addressing the issues faced by contemporary society. Helsinki Design Lab (HDL), a project initiated by Sitra – The Finnish Innovation Fund – fosters state-of-the-art knowledge, capability, and achievement in the area of strategic design in order to improve global supply of this essential 21st century problem solving skill."

TwoPoints.Net designed this year's Christmas greeting material for the Col·legi Oficial Disseny Gràfic Catalunya (Professional Association of Graphic Designers in Catalonia). Instead of sending a postcard or chocolates, we wanted to make something useful during Christmas -- a kind of play on the idea of a present -- so we thought to ourselves that there would be nothing better than designing a custom wrapping paper for the holidays!

Sergio and Noelia are a couple with a great sense of humor (he is stand-up writer for the Paramont Comedy channel). Their comedy is not pretentious and they approached their wedding planning with the same humor and a very clear desire to be themselves. When they asked us to help with the invitation, we designed a card that reflected the non-conventional and whimsical wedding to be. The photocopied and brightly colored images tell the couple's story, from where they grew up, to how they met, and even includes the spot where the wedding will be held. This almost crude imagery is printed on a pearlescent and textured paper, one that expresses a sense of glamor that we also plan to see during the ceremony.
