TwoPoints.Net was asked to contribute to the „Art of the Grand Depart – Yorkshire in Yellow exhibition/installation“ at the Sheffield Millennium Galleries. The exhibition is a partnership between Made North and Museums Sheffield. It is also part of the official Tour de France Cultural Festival and the Sheffield Design Week 2014. The design by TwoPoints.Net was printed onto a Yellow T-shirt and published in an accompanying publication.

There are few cycling accolades as prized and revered as the ‘Maillot Jaune’, or yellow jersey. Worn by the leader of the Tour de France since 1919, the jersey has become a symbol for the talent, hard work and dedication needed to lead the Peleton, which constantly snaps at the heels of the wearer. … and sometimes causes spectacular accidents. TwoPoints.Net made a tribute to both, winners and losers.

Client: Made North
Year: 2014

The Jersey for the winner was printed on yellow, but we made a jersey for the losers too. Printed on white it shows the colors of the national flag of France.
